Three biggest universities of Latvia jointly implementing inter-university Master`s study program "Nutrition science" are glad to invite you to the 3rd International Conference "Nutrition and Health". Conference will take place in Riga, Latvia, from 9 to 11 December 2020. The Conference will also provide a forum for disseminating and gathering ideas and research results by leading scientists, government, as well as business leaders in food, nutrition and health.
Online participation at the conference will be offered to scientists from countries other than Latvia. Latvian scientists will have the opportunity to participate either in person or online.
The aim of the International Conference “Nutrition and Health” is to give an opportunity to Latvian researchers to report their achievements and results; to foreign researchers to inform the audience about results of research on international level and on the topical problems for researchers; and to the students of master studies, as well as to all audience interested in problems of nutrition science and health to improve their theoretical and methodological knowledge in nutrition science, food science, health science and research work in these fields.
Venue
The conference "Nutrition and Health 2020" will take place in the Campus of University of Latvia, The House of Nature, Jelgavas street 1.
This building is the first stage of the Academic Centre development programme. The House of Nature was opened in 2015. The new building provides an opportunity both for students and academic staff to conduct world-class studies. In the wide laboratories scientists use nature based elements to create many new scientific products and patents. Practical collaboration among geographers, chemists and other field experts allows develop interdisciplinary studies.
